August 21 Update — Prop assets, Frame Extraction & Lounge Upload

🧩 Prop Assets Added

Storyboard asset management now includes a dedicated Prop category. Alongside characters and backgrounds, you can now manage the recurring key objects in your work as reusable assets.

Register the elements that matter to your story — a hero's weapon, a signature item, a brand's key prop — and they'll retain the same design and identity consistently, cut after cut, scene after scene. No need to redescribe them each time; simply pull in the saved prop and keep creating.

🎞️ Storyboard — Video Frame Extraction

With the Extract Frame feature, you can capture any moment from a storyboard video and save it directly as an image asset. Extracted frames are managed as generated images, ready to be reused across your later work.

Set a start–end frame to carry the flow smoothly from one scene into the next, or designate the starting point of a clip you'd like to refine and re-direct it exactly the way you want. Moving between video and image work has never felt more seamless.

📤 Upload External Videos to Toonkit Lounge

Videos you finished outside Toonkit can now go straight to the Lounge. Open Upload Animation from your profile, add the file and a title, and optionally a genre and synopsis to introduce the work.

Share the work you've poured your effort into with the community, and draw fresh inspiration from what other creators are making.
