This feature turns a still image into a video by having AI generate motion for it. You can use a single image as the first frame, or specify a start and end frame and let AI interpolate the motion between them.
What kind of image works best for image-based AI video?
Images with a clear subject and sufficient image quality work best. Upload requirements are a minimum of 500px, a maximum of 2K (2048×2048), 10MB or less, and JPG/PNG/WebP format — and the closer the image's composition is to the aspect ratio you want to create, the more natural the result.
Does AI automatically separate the image into layers?
Toonkit separates characters and the background into independent layers, so you can move, resize, and edit each one separately. This lets you apply different motion to the character and the background.
Can photos also be converted naturally into video?
Yes. You can add natural motion to an uploaded photo or artwork to turn it into a video. It's great for bringing an existing thumbnail or illustration to life with movement right away.
Can I use my generated video commercially?
Yes. The copyright of the output belongs to you, and commercial use is included in the pricing plans. However, you're responsible for the rights to the original image you upload, so only use images you have the rights to.
How long can an image-based AI video be?
Each clip is generated in 3 to 15 seconds depending on the model. Image to video is usually produced as a single clip, and you can extend it further by stitching multiple clips together in the editor.
What resolution can I export my video in?
MP4/WebM format at 24fps is supported, with 720p or 1080p depending on the model (4K is not supported). For image to video, the aspect ratio of the input image usually determines the output's aspect ratio.
